Power is a great place to find yourself inside and outside of the work place. They foster a great environment to grow and form goals, personally and professionally. It's also a great place to make a lot of money and form a lot of lasting friendships. Leadership here is kind and attentive, they see you as a person first and understand the nuances of life each person faces.

Cons

Power requires a lot of time, occasionally personal time, to dedicate to your craft and to your business. Because of the fluctuation of the business you have to be constantly ready to adjust your "work burner" up so you can support the needs of the business.

The flexibility in BT to work remotely part of the week has been a huge benefit for work-life balance, especially with a family. Compensation is competitive within the home remodeling industry, and the company offers solid benefits like 401K and private health insurance. There are also opportunities to grow and learn if you’re willing to put in the effort.

Cons

One challenge is that career growth and promotions don’t always align with seniority or long-term loyalty, which can sometimes feel discouraging after many years with the company. For employees in tech-focused roles, compensation can feel a bit below market compared to the broader tech industry, even though bonuses can help offset that in strong years.
