Pros

I I would summarise as: * Challenging work, friendly customer base and good natured, intelligent colleagues. * Management definitely don't get everything right but the investment in addressing 'problem areas' as raised by Employees has been refreshing to watch over the last 3 years. In my experience there's always something that's 'broken', be it a department that's under resourced, a function that doesn't exist or an obvious benefit we lack. In my experience these issue are addressed and it's a matter of 'when' not 'if'. This doesn't always happen immediately (which can cause short term pain) but in 90% of cases it does over time.

Cons

I can see why newer employees get upset with the lack of support on things like 'career progression' and 'training materials' etc. The company has grown up very quickly and was much smaller a very short time ago. The fact is, new hires / prospective recruits see a well established company that has a lofty reputation. With that comes the expectation of getting properly trained, having clear career path and properly established processes - as they should. While some teams have these now, others don't. Messaging to new hires is important.

Thanks for your feedback- we really appreciate you bringing this up. As you noted, growth comes with its share of challenges and growing pains. We have our share of those. As you've noted, we are constantly iterating and working to become better by identifying areas we can improve and then closing those gaps.

Pros

Great benefits and resources available for their employees. In-office perks include catered lunches 3 days a week, 2 days with grub-hub credits, and free snacks and coffee daily; alongside office events and parties. There is a generally positive culture amongst the overall company.

Cons

Their actual company leadership does not always make the best decisions and rather than prioritizing root cause issues that impact both the customers and employees' daily work, they would rather prioritize shinier items that give the illusion of innovation. This will trickle down to the employees in the form of stressed deadlines, longer hours, and frustrated clients and/or frustrated teams you may work cross functionally with that are client facing. Your actual experience at qualtrics is largely based on what team/job function you are in and who your manager is. Additionally, there is a glaring diversity issue that remains unaddressed with no real effort to hire more underrepresented people of color, leading to the high turnover rate of underrepresented minorities who are not lucky enough to have great managers.
