Pros

My team had a great culture of supporting each other on projects, eating lunch together in the office, and having fun activities. We respected each other's opinions, were helpful when we had questions, and we had the best managers who were empathetic and kind. Having unique perks like the experience bonus, the wellness bonus, catered lunch, and lots of snacks and drinks, and five personal days were awesome. The Q Groups were a fun way to connect with people outside my department with similar interests and we had a lot of great seminars and forums to listen to.

Cons

There is a huge gap between the executive leadership and the front-line workers. The top leaders are self interested, old fashioned corporate types who all come from a toxic Microsoft work culture where they assume that everyone's lives should revolve around work. We actually make little money compared to other tech giants and we are fighting the costs of inflation while executives take millions home and complain that we aren't passionate enough about our work. The way the executive leadership handled lay offs in October were horrible and felt so de-humanizing but would barely acknowledge how painful it was for people who work to support their families because all they could focus on is the new and better Qualtrics that is going to run on less people and less money. Another big con is the promotion cycle. It use to be bi-annual then they told people last year that they would get rid of the October cycle and make everyone wait until January and if you didn't get promoted in January, you either had to wait another year, or wait until someone quit on your team or another team and then would apply for that position. After we applied for promotions in January, then they told us they had very little budget and would not be promoting more than 10 people in the entire department. So they essentially wasted all of our time waiting for the new promotion cycle and then waiting until mid-March to let us know none of us would get promoted. What a waste of time for us to work so hard only to be let down in a major way. If you don't get promoted at Qualtrics your only option is for a yearly salary adjustment that has never been more than $3K which is not a great raise.

Pros

Enjoy the changes silver lake has made. We are getting more efficient and back to what Qualtrics is really good at.

Cons

A lot of change can be frustrating at times, but necessary

Pros

Free lunch and that’s everything

Cons

* No company vision * Pay is mediocre * Lack of growth opportunities * HR is TRASH! You will not be heard nonetheless * Sales driven, which is fine, but that changes every decision the company makes * Lack of product direction mainly because management sucks!! They cannot even prepare a decent product strategy document for a given FY. They ask the L4-L7 levels to come with product goals that they think are important! As long as you produce a BS concept on AI for your product, you are a star, you don’t have to even deliver it! Success metrics are only for the papers, they don’t care if they’re generating any revenue from it!
