Pros

A lot of international people in Marketing (if you are a MBA graduate from a top school, this would tick you off since these guys probably just did a 3 year degree in Arts or Science and started working for RB in Europe in sales and then in a few years got sent to the US as Senior Brand Managers or Marketing Directors) Fast Paced (lots of chaos for those who can thrive on it) Good Training Ground (if you want to be great in Trade Marketing, not good for brand management training because everything is very short term and sales focused, no concept of investing in brands and building equity like J&J, Unilever or P&G)

Cons

Work Life balance would need to be compromised Unclear management requires multiple rounds of rework Mid to low tier schools also being hired for MBA entry level positions so dont spend the extra $$$ on a top tier MBA. If you want to work here, a second tier MBA would also do. Overall salary is made to look competitive on paper because of large bonus component, but we all know, you cannot always meet all KPIs for getting a max on bonus.

Pros

Feel that the pay is above market standard for similar roles.

Cons

Intense, cold, cut throat. Feel like when you speak with any employee they’re burnt out, Managment beyond demanding. High profile brands, don’t align with low end culture.
