Worst leadership I’ve ever encountered - Global Supply Manager Rivian Employee Review

My boss had no experience in his role. He spent more time trying to cover his own behind than getting stuff done. Incompetent leadership is a common theme at Rivian. Many leaders are over promoted due to their friendships in the company . Everyone on our team knew more than our boss did and we just had to watch him torpedo our work with his incompetence. Nightmarish. They need to start with a clean slate at the director level and above. The construction team is lead by an incompetent VP who seems to make it his mission to run the company out of money, who surrounds himself with people he knew from former roles that do the same. If you’re thinking about working here and you have any other options, take any other option. My whole team quit and Rivian still has the old leadership in place despite complete lack of ability to retain qualified talent. Be careful about having this place on your resume. In a job interview someone literally said to me “thank god the rest of your resume is so good, I almost tossed it immediately into the trash when I saw Rivian since I’ve only seen incompetence from them”
