Thanks for your review about Sage. There's so much happening in Sage at the moment ranging from our localised summits (the UK is at London's ExcCeL, 5-6 April) ,plus lots of other locations across the world. We have a new global Intranet being launched soon ' Your Sage', Sage People has recently launched, a brand new colleague engagement survey coming soon, Leading@Sage Leadership Program launches 24th March, Platinum Elite location announced - over 100 colleagues will get the chance to go to Rosewood Mayakoba, Mexico, new cloud-based product launches, more evolution of our chat bot Pegg...pause for breath! The Sage Way (available to all colleagues) outlines how we are organized across our seven regions and functions. It sets out how we collaborate, how we live our values, and how we flawlessly execute to put our customers first. Sage Way is about bringing brilliant execution, a strong and positive culture, and our cause of supporting the business builders together. We have amazing people, great products that every business on this planet needs, and a cause that inspires us to do our very personal best.. Please speak to your manager if you haven't seen the new Sage Way or feel free to contact me (Lynne) at glassdoor@sage.com. Thanks again for your feedback.

Pros

was hired as remote and get to have that honored, but have been openly told no career progression because of remote status. decent pay

Cons

Leadership instability: Seven manager changes during my relatively short tenure. Unrealistic targets: A sales quota set at 1,100% growth (not a typo). Slow product development: Getting anything actioned on the product side takes far too long. Product management turnover: Three product manager changes, resulting in no meaningful deliverables in over three years. Misaligned hiring priorities: Greater emphasis on DEI optics than on hiring people positioned to drive growth. Internal vs. customer focus: More energy spent on internal events than on product enhancements. Lack of accountability (the biggest issue): No one takes ownership. Responsibility gets passed around constantly — for example, client cancellations going unprocessed because they impact someone's numbers. Managers have openly encouraged pushing the work onto someone else rather than handling it.
