Pros

I used to have nothing but amazing things to say about SE. but I no longer believe they care about their people. I really truely believes this was the one company that treated us like humans. But the unpaid holidays the cut salaries the knee jerk decisions to hurt their people and put them in rough financial situations to prevent it from hitting their bottom line. All while doing better during the pandemic than we were before, is disgusting!

Cons

Cuts jobs cuts salaries and stops paying holidays all to keep themselves richer! Then mandating medical decisions and forcing people with legitimate medical reasons to disclose their conditions/diagnosis for an HR “barely professional” to review it and make a decision on it. Telling everyone they will be terminated if they don’t comply. Barely get a 1-3% raise as a “performer” every year. This company is a joke. They don’t actually care about many of the hot issues they claim to, it’s all about positioning themselves to look good. Very politically motivated company

Pros

Competitive salary, great benefits, wonderful people to learn from.

Cons

Unless in a metro area, lots of traveling. Not a negative for me, but can be for others.

Pros

- Decent pay and good benefits - work truck with gas card -good experience

Cons

- management is disconnected from field employees - review process does not reflect employee performance since managers do not go out in field in order to properly assess job performance - poor communication which leads to chaotic project implementation - no standardization of necessary info for each customer site. You walk in completely blind each time you visit a customer you’ve never been to - safety is important, but corporate pushes redundant messaging so frequently i believe it has the opposite of the intended effect - forced to wear long sleeves FR shirts in hot weather even when you are not exposed to fire hazards any more than a standard office employee
