Pros
Some good individual contributors. You can have a good work/life balance, but for the wrong reasons. Since other tech companies (e.g. AWS/Azure) are aggressively hiring, it's hard for Siemens to hire good people who are interested in their products. So managers are scared to fire people. You can have a good work/life balance if you realize managers are unlikely to fire competent people. Even some bad managers will back off if they think you are going to quit.
Cons
I've got 15+ years of experience total. The Siemens DISW sales/PreSales/Partner org had the highest number of incompetent and toxic people I have ever worked with. I worked with so many "experts" and "leaders" who did nothing except regurgitated PowerPoints and understood nothing. A lot of the long term (10+) years DISW employees I worked with (Solutions Architects, Managers, and VPs) were grossly incompetent and bullies. This is because bullying and talking over people was the only way they could cover up their incompetence. These people would be unemployable outside of Siemens DISW, but because of their relationships in DISW nobody would fire them.
