Pros
I must say Software One is a world class company to work with. The kind of experience that I got from software one is worth for my entire carrier and I have never got this kind of experience in any of my previous organisations however I have worked with multiple MNC’s including IBM, CSC, Birlasoft and few more. SWO provides extensive training which I must say extremely good. The day I have joined Software One I got ample of opportunities to grow my skills (Technical and leadership) and learn different cultures. Training which I have attended includes Business communication. Leadership training which was happened in Gurugram last year in 2016.Multiple license publisher training's including (Microsoft, IBM, VMware and much more). which you will never get in any of the big fours. Donabet, Drazen and Oliver is the biggest asset in the company they are the 3 pillars of SWO. As I am leading one of the Global account in SWO I have worked closely with all top leaders in SWO which includes Drazen, Oliver, Dieter, Donabet, Stephan, Rocky also Josef. I also got an opportunity to meet SWO CEO Patrick winter, extremely down to earth personality and have a very clear vision. Software One really spends a good amount of money to grow their employee skills however sometime this will also play as a negative step as SWO employees get multiple opportunities outside as their employees are more skilled, very technically polished resource with excellent communication skills. In SWO you will get a good culture to work with, also several employee benefits like Meal Vouchers, Free Cabs, Work from home including free internet, Kick of meetings and parties. Me and lot of team members also got an opportunity to travel to Switzerland and learn European work culture. I must say I have learnt tremendous amount of knowledge in SAM domain from SWO. It’s totally depends how you are open to change yourself and to learn & move forward.
Cons
You will also think that why I am not highlighting the negative aspects of leadership role in SWO GSDC as SWO is very particular about integrity and compliance they have fired some resources from GSDC. Which I don’t think is negative step, yes there are some Cons as well where India leadership team need to work on like 360 surveys where they need to work on employee’s feedback and grow accordingly. As everybody highlighted maximum negative feedback on glass door so I thought I can share my good experience as well on Glass door for SWO. Thanks
