Pros
Excellent benefits and far more money than I ever expected to make in customer service (a high hourly rate plus differentials for working evenings / weekends, premiums for working major holidays, stock grants, discounted stock purchase, and performance bonuses). regular informal incentives like free meal tickets from the cafe, raffles for significant prizes, gift cards, etc. consistently scheduled off-the-clock social events where you're usually allowed to bring your kids. colorful and upbeat atmosphere a lot of friendly people
Cons
Other than the usual difficulties of answering phones at a major call center, there are few opportunities to learn from and grow with your coworkers, and there is extreme micromanagement (even of top performers). For me, these led to a slow burnout that even the excellent money couldn't truly compensate for.
