Retail hours suck. Management support sucks. If you are a single parent - they frankly couldn’t care less what happens to your kids - you still have to make it to work when they tell you to and they will slap your hand every time you can’t. But they won’t pay you enough to pay for childcare. All of the retail employees are unhappy and underpaid. For a multi-billion dollar company where their front line employees are vital to the growth of the business - they keep cutting pay and cutting head count - forcing stores to be understaffed and overwhelmed - that’s just ridiculous.
