Pros

The employer is very flexible with hours, and will work around your home/school life to make sure you can balance personal time with work time. It's a great place to start entry-level over-the-phone customer service, as any other phone service rep centers in the area require previous experience. While the employee turnout rate is high (mostly because of employees abandoning work or moving) so is the promotion rate, so chances of being promoted within six months (provided you meet your given job metrics regularly) is very good. Opportunities are offered to transfer to other departments if you find you're not satisfied with the product support you're giving and would like to try something else. Training is paid and employees really help each other with making sure everyone has transportation to and from work.

Cons

While helping customers is rewarding, dealing with customers who aren't totally honest (or even sober) can be frustrating, and much of the work is monotonous. If you're not very good with computers or slow at typing you're going to have a difficult time keeping up, as all work is done at a terminal and requires documentation of every call to be typed as you're working with the customer. If you work during 2nd or 3rd shifts there is no public transportation available after 2nd shift starts, and if you live anywhere other than downtown Columbus you must first take a bus downtown, which can make traveling time as long as two hours.

Pros

The hiring process was quick and efficient. During onboarding for my initial position, the equipment arrived on time and setup was straightforward. As a seasonal Medicare Sales Agent working through a third-party vendor, I appreciated the opportunity to gain industry experience. While my role was limited due to the seasonal nature of the position, it strengthened my customer service, sales, and communication skills. It increased my interest in pursuing a long-term career in healthcare and insurance.

Cons

Transitioning to a new role within the company was extremely frustrating. After my seasonal assignment ended, I spent approximately five months attempting to move into another campaign. I accepted a position in December and attended multiple technical checks, but the equipment issues were never resolved. Rather than providing updated equipment, repeated attempts were made to use older equipment that was not functioning properly. Because I was still tied to the pending position, I was unable to apply for other opportunities within the company until the role was officially closed and the equipment returned. After several technical checks went unresolved, I ultimately decided to stop pursuing additional roles with the company.
