Pros

As I was hired as an agent my pay was slightly better than direct-hires Bonded with friends over how much we hated TP Quitting felt better than sex

Cons

Refused bathroom breaks (was threatened with docked pay, or that I need to work unpaid overtime for the time I was in the bathroom). This is illegal, but managers like to feel like big men and make staff cry. Sort-of clean environment, but managers and staff literally reek with BO Was refused to have my medications on my desk as per policy. More than a few times my crucial inhaler was picked up from my desk and thoroughly inspected by power-hungry managers happening to pass by. By the looks of them, they didn't wash their hands, and touched my inhaler after! I had to keep disinfect the apparatus as it kept being inspected. Official reason: I could hide contraband. Actual reason: managers need something to lord over us others. No chance of progressing through the company unless you were sleeping with the managers. Witnessed people receive promotions knowing nothing of the campaign moving up swiftly, whereas people possessing much knowledge of the work stuck in the trenches. Went home in tears more than a few times due to treatment from senior staff Unsociable work hours People don't dress professionally - many people walking around barefoot or with inappropriate length dresses Too cold or too warm, needed to bring in blankets and hot water bottles in the winter so as to not freeze

Pros

For the most part, I have an open availability. I do however, like not having to work on Sundays. Some campains allow for a 1 hour lunch break. The hiring process was fairly easy. Your equipment is provided. There is opportunity for advancement. They are helpful when it comes to license renewal. Calls are back to back which for me seems to make time go faster. Flexibly as to when you want to take your lunch break. You have to opportunity to assist people without having to feel it was rushed. Off all major holidays.

Cons

Rushed training that may leave some questions unanswered. I feel like I had to figure things out on my own. Getting the assistance you need to help a client took longer than it should, especially when the client is on on hold, waiting for your response. At times some trainers seem to be unprepared for the roll they have taken. Calls are frequently monitored. Not much time between calls. It can take too long to transition from on campain to the next after the project has ended.
