Pros

Entry level management, store discount, casual work dress code (although limited to red and khaki), sometimes you get days off during the week if you work weekends and sometimes you get to come in late if you work late, corporate headquarters is pretty nice - possibility to get a chance to move into headquarters - although you better be a superstar at the store if this is your plan

Cons

Not the best hours, had to work all holidays before and after that Target was open, not respected by employees or management, poor compensation, wearing red and khaki everyday, dealing with unmotivated employees and bad attitudes from everyone - customers, employees, coworkers

Pros

If you are looking for a job that you’ll be a part of a fun team environment, have the ability to learn all about customer “guest” service, retail operations and sales, as well as merchandising even at entry level great opportunity. for such a large corporation I have been pleasantly surprised by how tight knit teams are. applying was okay, there were multiple steps (videos, assessments) but overall not too bad)., phone call and then video questions before hiring.

Cons

Pay isn’t great, but for the market it’s fair. Moving up involves a much larger increase in responsibilities and workload relative to the pay increase.
