Pros

Strong organizational culture for learning every day. High pressure about project times. You can develop here a strong technical knowledge. SAP Global partner. Good people, all work hard every day and knows a lot.

Cons

Not take into account senior consultants and desire to discover their own path every time. It´s sound not bad, but if you suggest something nobody hear you. Managers main concern is about project cost, works scheduled but not in quality outcomes or team advices to do the things in a netter way. Managers chain is too long and strongly based on hierarchies this affect communications and opportunity to improve performance. Need more focus in local PM performance, project task and responsibilities. Open mind about suggestions is an opportunity area. HR need to be better because nobody there knows about their colleagues skills or understand work experience. Team integration is difficult about English-Spanish languages. Project opportunities need to consider: first the Client approach or requirements and the consultant qualifications first to onboard each project. Low level of confidence to mexican people about skills or project performance. Focus in administrative control not in consultant perfomance. Avoid to talk about project opportunities and prefer to talk about don´t forget timesheet control every day.

Pros

Large client base. Talented people, have "cracked the code" on offshoring development and support.

Cons

For anyone used to working in US-based firms, the culture and politics will be difficult to understand and navigate. Internal policies and systems focus on the offshore delivery center model. Roles in the US do not fit into that mold, and obtaining approvals for simple expenses can require weeks and insanely high approval chains given the size of TCS. I needed approval from a global division head (a CEO direct-report) just to pay for a short training course. Missions of different departments are not clearly defined, so overlap and conflict are common.
