Pros
Most coworkers were nice, team managers are ok to deal with.
Cons
- No actual training provided, they slapped the new guy with the responsibility to train me and it was a terrible experience - No clear process to troubleshoot. Anything known is either kept by some of the employees or whispered through myths and legends - Managers don't really help. Every now and then they will, but for the most part just bark for verbal status reports on already closed items. If they just read, they can get all the info they need. -Top boss is quite the character, and not in a good way. He's extremely rude and insensitive. All he does is curse in every sentence and insult your coworkers. Doesn't care who is there to hear, new recruits, women, doesn't matter. -HR is a joke. They'll never do anything to your benefit, only for the company. Honestly, if you have something to complain, deal with it yourself and don't bother reaching to HR, and that brings me to the next point. -Get fired for pretty much anything. There is no clear definition on what you can and cannot be fired/written for. Essentially, they can just say "zero tolerance" and fire you for, well, anything, even if it was their fault to begin with. Job stability is 0% here. Budget cuts? They'll get you on something to clear the cut. They don't care if they become understaffed. They prefer it that way. They are short sited on profits. - Not enough peripherals for the team....really? Can't afford headsets for the entire team? A company that rakes in $60 billion+ annually? 2 VPN laptops (1 of which doesn't work) for the entire team? I could go on. - The IT departments that you MUST deal with to get issues resolved are unbelievably incompetent. You'll be wanting to pull out your own hair or reach out through the computer and choke them.
