Pros
Many long-term employees with deep design/construction knowledge who're willing to share it with newbies. The company has been in business for well over a hundred years. As a Christian, I feel free to let my faith be known. That doesn't mean I wear it on my sleeve. I don't feel persecuted for it. Also, Beck is very flexible with work hours. Though I choose not to, many work from home as the circumstance demands. Beck is very concerned for each employee's health needs and goals. The company is proactive in keeping a healthy workforce. Salaries are liberal and very fair in my opinion. There is a well established procedure for reviewing employees performance and bonus payments as well as pay increases. PTO is also liberal and is well structured to meet each employee's needs. There is a great work/family time balance. I could go on with more, but the bottom line at Beck is to provide a great finished product to the owner first, then count the revenues.
Cons
The only down side for me is that I didn't pursue a career earlier in life with Beck.
