      Pros

      The internal team members, typically Senior Leadership and below, are truly some of the hardest working, passionate individuals in the industry. They are heart centered and mission driven.

      Cons

      Leadership is absolutely horrendous. Announcements related to layoffs are dropped in an email and given no real timeline. The CEO gaslights their way through every conversation, and tells the organization to “center the mission”, when employees are being treated like garbage. I had four different managers in 18-months.

      Pros

      The best management and team I ever worked with doing work I appreciated with a focus on a vulnerable population.

      Cons

      Due to their focus being on LGBTQ youth, they are unfortunately at the mercy of trends in both politics and in philanthropy. Several rounds of layoffs happened as fewer people have maintained their conviction to protect queer youth.
