Pros
Great company. Great benefits. The culture expects you to work hard, and they pay your generously for it. I have also seen the owner of Uline do what no other major/large companies have done for their employees and their employees' families. If you want to work for a company where you can focus solely on sales because its infrastructure gives you (sales people) very little to no fires to put out, Uline is it!!! NorCal management is the best with long term experience within the company. The leaders here in NorCal truly leads from the front. Uline is also working very hard to improve their career path by promoting from within. Lots of growth in the horizon so great opportunity!
Cons
The only con that other people might see is the micromanagement. I never saw it as a problem because Uline offers over 32k SKUs to thousands of companies ranging from 1-5 Ees to 1,000+ with multiple locations across the country. With that said, it is imperative to make sure their Ees are doing the right thing not only for Uline, but also for their customers. As soon as management recognizes your mastery of their process and that you are a guardian of their system, micromanaging should disappear.
