Pros
I've worked here since it was MCI. That was a fantastic, innovative company to work for. Verizon, just so so to work for.
Cons
Senior Management does not listen to the employees. We are just told to make changes to the company that ultimately sets the company back technologically 15 years. It does not seem to make any difference if the change is for the better, technologically. Ultimately, the company has lost many highly skilled employees by disregarding their advice on how to make things function better, and many of those people have quit to move on to a place where their advice is valued. This is especially true on the mainframe side of the house.
