-every quarter has a comp plan/work requirement change -management/HR is atrocious -top producers don't get raises -"open door policy" - nothing gets done about anything though -asks for opinion/feedback AFTER decisions have been made

At Gympass, the quality of our teams is always one of our top priorities. This starts with focusing on hiring the right people to creating development opportunities with a focus on career progression. Of course there is always room for improvement, which we are actively addressing through the implementation of new initiatives. For example, we have recently selected a group of top performers on our sales team to understand and provide feedback on proposed changes before they are implemented. We also encourage employees to offer feedback through any communication tool they feel most comfortable-be that with their manager, the HR team, through our bimonthly engagement survey or via Ombudsmen, our anonymous feedback tool. We recognize that we could make improvements as an organization, and our employees’ input is the best way to do so. As we would love to implement every suggestion, not always is it possible. When we are unable to implement a decision our goal is to give this feedback to the employee so they have an understanding of our decision. Regarding top talent, one of our values focuses on meritocracy. Our compensation philosophy focuses specifically on rewarding top performers through our biannual performance review cycle, as well as growth opportunities through daily initiatives. Rewards vary based on the employees’ journey and can include a merit increase, promotion, increased responsibility/scope, or special projects.
