Pros

Somewhere to go and pass too much of your time and generally get paid for time spent.

Cons

Problem with payroll...it's in India Need training...it's in India Need to pass pesky required tests to certify your skills...cheat like everyone else. Passing means nothing except keeping your job. Have an HR issue...at least some are in New Jersey Have an expense...good luck! Working overtime...don't do it. It may not be approved even though you're legally entitled. Want to get ahead in your career...don't settle down and go where they send you, otherwise leave. Like where you are...pray you don't get flagged for rotation after 2 years. Very high turnover. Seems like nearly everyone that left was replaced by an H1 visa. I can go on...

Pros

Positive and supporting work culture where employees feel valued and respected. Team environment is very friendly and colleagues are always willing to help each other, which creates a collaborative atmosphere.

Cons

I would not 100% consider it as cons as its common thru most MNC's. But opportunities for fast career progression can vary depending on the project or team.

Pros

There are no pros to working for Wipro.

Cons

This company is a sh** show. There are too many managers and less and less people to do the actual work. They have people that negotiate contracts and then expect the company to make money. In reality, most of the time the contract is basically giving the house away. It is the employees that suffer. When the contracts go south, they cut more people. Those people are then screwed over. Be warned!! If your position ends on the 25th of the month, your health insurance also ends on the 25th of the month. Note that the premium you paid, is not pro-rated, justifying the end of coverage on the 25th. You still pay the usual premium, which should then have your coverage run through the end of the month. If they can destroy a person, they will. They want more and more and more from their employees. While they preach all this mental health, work life balance, it's a sham. They have no regard for the well being of the employee, which carries over to the employee's family.
