Pros

Salary....maybe but you have to fight for it and they still use stall tactics and offer you wrong amounts hoping you'll just give up on the negotiation

Cons

If you are a U.S. Citizen... everything. They spell your name wrong then you have to contest with Homeland Security that you are a U.S Citizen, even though you provided MORE proof than was necessary when hired. Deceptive offer practices including shady negotiation and mis-information. Lack of response regarding salary disputes, benefits and PTO questions. They are disorganized and lack the competency and understanding of U.S. work culture. If you're an IT professional and your department gets taken over by Wipro, watch out. If you're lucky enough to switch over to Wipro, your colleagues will not know how to do anything. If you're salary, you're expected to work more than 40 hours a week for the same pay, but when your client company has designated holidays that aren't on the Wipro calendar you're forced to use your PTO to cover that, or come in to work for no apparent reason. STAY AWAY FROM WIPRO...OUTSOURCING DOES NOT WORK!!!

Pros

Positive and supporting work culture where employees feel valued and respected. Team environment is very friendly and colleagues are always willing to help each other, which creates a collaborative atmosphere.

Cons

I would not 100% consider it as cons as its common thru most MNC's. But opportunities for fast career progression can vary depending on the project or team.

Pros

There are no pros to working for Wipro.

Cons

This company is a sh** show. There are too many managers and less and less people to do the actual work. They have people that negotiate contracts and then expect the company to make money. In reality, most of the time the contract is basically giving the house away. It is the employees that suffer. When the contracts go south, they cut more people. Those people are then screwed over. Be warned!! If your position ends on the 25th of the month, your health insurance also ends on the 25th of the month. Note that the premium you paid, is not pro-rated, justifying the end of coverage on the 25th. You still pay the usual premium, which should then have your coverage run through the end of the month. If they can destroy a person, they will. They want more and more and more from their employees. While they preach all this mental health, work life balance, it's a sham. They have no regard for the well being of the employee, which carries over to the employee's family.
