Pros

As a software engineer, Wizeline is easily one of the best (if not the most) places to get exposure to the fastest paced and better-rewarded technology industry. - The people you work here with is smart, and they will challenge your limits every day. - Culture is good, and people foster healthy relationships between each other. - Intelligence and initiative are both highly valued traits, but the attitude towards day to day work is key. - Compensation is good, and this does not come down to salary only, we have perks such as free food, medical/dental insurance, unlimited vacations, bonuses, etc. - With the current expansion, there is plenty of room for career development within the company. - There is basketball court inside the office.

Cons

- Your brain will be challenged in many ways. If you struggle with stressful situations or don't like to push boundaries you will have a hard time working here. - You need to be proactive too, waiting for instructions on how to perform all the time is not a good strategy to make the most out of your time here. - Some projects are more fun than others, which can affect the motivation of the teams looking at what others are doing.

Pros

For the most part, I had a good experience at Wizeline. The experience depends heavily on the client you are assigned to, but I was fortunate to work with great people and had a lot of fun, especially during my first few years at the company.

Cons

I believe that offering benefits beyond what is legally required reflects a company’s culture and the value it places on its employees. When my contract was terminated (after seven years ), no severance was offered, as this is not legally required in the U.S. This led me to reflect on how other non-mandated benefits are handled; for example, paid maternity leave is also not legally required, which raised questions for me about whether it would be supported if needed.
