Pros

Benefits are ok - Life insurance - Medical Insurance - Savings fund It's a good place to work with different tech, due to the nature of the business being Developers as a Service, can put you in very different projects, sometimes very interesting and fun but sometimes really boring, easy money either way.

Cons

It's becoming a clone of every other outsourcing company in Mexico, working at wizeline is no different from working at softek, the things that gave wizeline the edge and made it an amazing company to work for are being slowly disregarded and falling to the same bad practices that make it feel like you're working for a family company. The referral process is a mess, I've had referred candidates and half of the time they end up stuck in "phone screening" (the very first step), with no communication whatsoever, still "open" for over two years now. Trying to raise these concerns internally only resulted in a discipline lead engineer tagging me as "complains too much" and ignoring every request after.

Pros

For the most part, I had a good experience at Wizeline. The experience depends heavily on the client you are assigned to, but I was fortunate to work with great people and had a lot of fun, especially during my first few years at the company.

Cons

I believe that offering benefits beyond what is legally required reflects a company’s culture and the value it places on its employees. When my contract was terminated (after seven years ), no severance was offered, as this is not legally required in the U.S. This led me to reflect on how other non-mandated benefits are handled; for example, paid maternity leave is also not legally required, which raised questions for me about whether it would be supported if needed.
