Pros
The people. You will meet the nicest, brightest, most inspiring and supportive colleagues here. Your team mates actually care so much about you and your boss genuinely wishes the best for you. The benefits used to be amazing 4 years ago, but now is sub-par. The work you do matters to clients and you are exposed to the most comprehensive insights in the energy market. The work is so much fun and it's a great place to learn and grow. Also amazing work&life balance.
Cons
After the corporate sell out to Veritas Capital, it seems like the management doesn't care about the people anymore. All the town halls only emphasize about growth of the company. Haven't heard a single word about how it appreciates its employees and any commitment to employee wellbeing and work culture. The layoffs have destroyed the company morale, but it doesn't seem like it's the management's top concern anyways anymore. Annual reviews don't matter as much as well for compensation increases. Last year, my annual increase was 2%, which was less than inflation, with a "exceed expectation" review. And still, the false hope of higher compensation continues every year..Not to mention that the company has actively cut benefits for employees since its acquisition to Veritas. Also unfair treatment to US employees.
