Pros

Work 4 days a week and have 3 day weekends. work with great people and have great teams.

Cons

Don't get to benefit from everything that Zillow offers. You are tied to the desk for 10 hours a day and ot's exhausting. There is not a lot of room for movement within the department and they don't encourage you to get to know the company. They want you to focus all your energy on the department without being able to learn anything else.

Our department provides an amazing service to thousands of consumers and real estate pro's every day, which means being readily available. We're very clear in recruiting that some shifts are 4 days a week, 10 hours a day (with an hour lunch and breaks of course) and the position involves doing many similar tasks per day. Regarding overtime, we offer that from time to time on a purely voluntary basis, and many of the teammates comment they like to opportunity to add to their paycheck. Very collaborative team, encouraging team members and managers. Great experience overall.

Cons

Because most people work remote, sometimes it can be hard to meet immediately to chat.

Pros

You can make good money here.

Cons

In sales, job can change often. For example: I was making good money and excelling because I am a relationship Sales person. Then they changed it to where you get the sale, and instead of being able to grow that account via that relationship you just broke into, you have to pass it to an account manager and go back to cold/robo calling. You "book" of business you recive to prospect from is a lottery. I received a book of prospects/accounts that most of the were low income, or senior living properties. They don't have a budget and have a line of renter on a waitlist. No way to convince them to spend money on advertising but you still have the same quota.
