Pros

Working there will get you noticed by other companies looking for hardworking sales professionals.

Cons

Work life balance is talked about but rarely is taken seriously unless you request the time off in advance.

Pros

You take charge. accountable for key areas of the business. chance to make a real impact of a business. quick promotions if you a goal-orientated. all round experience if you can get to management level (HR, recruiting, sales, leadership etc). a chance to make some good money if you are in the right branch. drive some nice cars!

Cons

Long hours (Minimum 55+ hours if you an MT, 60-65+ if you are an Assistant or Branch Manager). have to make sacrifices to a work/life balance. never know what time you are going to finish regardless of the time of day. You are only as good as your average of your last 3 months, possibly even 1 month! If you are an assistant manager and above, some outside factors beyond your control can have a negative effect towards your commission cheque. Having to wash cars in all weather conditions in your suit! Lots of pressure from both customers, colleagues and senior managers! Very very low basic salary for industry average compared to the hours/effort put in. Only take this job if you are single as there will be pressures in relationship - you will be asked to work late at least a couple of times per week if you are an MT, if you are an assistant manager then you will be required to! You do not get overtime when you become an assistant manager and you'll rely on commission, if you get any!

Pros

Great fun place if you work with the right people. Lots of recognition and career opportunities and happy hour are sweet!

Cons

I had to deal with employees who didn't care to move up but my career depended on it! I think the pay rate was horrible for hard work load.
