Pros

Taught me alot coming right out of college, I mean you are taught to sell (even though it should come naturally), a/r, marketing everything to run your own little business.

Cons

Since the recession. Enterpise has changed. THey dont care about your personal growth if you are not liked. Its more of a high school feel that if you speak your mind and no one likes it baaaam your done. I mean really if some higher manager just doesnt like you that can actually stop your promotions even if you earned the company a billion dollars. Its real horse crap since if you get a good manager which there are lots your set. If you get a bad one, not to say i wasnt perfect, but some managers just dont care about you at all. Its sucks.

Pros

Complete autonomy within each branch; you're able to work as a team while focusing on your own stats and your own development. The people you tend to work with are outgoing and generally great at what they do. Sales lunches and dinners are paid and great incentives to continue to do well. Marketing days are helpful and fun, also. The job is very well-rounded and teaches more than you'd think.

Cons

Huge commitment to time... 55 hours per week on average, with 12 hour days a couple of times per week, depending on your branch. The pay doesn't seem worth it in the beginning, but that's generally the reason you work to get promoted. Sometimes the timelines they guarantee you at the beginning aren't met, even with exceptional sales.

Pros

The people are awesome! Best coworkers I ever had.

Cons

Everything! The long hours, the stupid customer is always right mentality, the pay, the guise of promotion but not getting promoted because you didn't kiss up...really everything.
