Pros

They teach you alot and the people that you work with are great. Everyone is smart and upbeat and easy to get along with.

Cons

You work 50+ hours a week no matter what. You are understaffed and never have enough cars. What ever you do is never good enough as far as managment is concerned and all they ever look at is a small grouping of performance numbers to determine your career path not you as a who employee

Pros

A lot of opportunity for advancement. Usually work with younger people who are career oriented. Good sales training but constant/ redundant training at the same time. Good benefits

Cons

A lot of hours for not much pay. They do this to ween out the people who aren't looking for a long term career at enterprise. This is what happened to me. I was on pace to get promoted quickly but once you realize that even when you get a couple promotions and are going to make decent money, you still do the same job and have to deal with a lot of unhappy customers consistently. And by unhappy I mean steaming mad and willing to yell at you over the phone or face to face. This happens a lot and most of the time you have no control over why.

Pros

-Learn how to run your own busines -Learn how to market -Develop and build sales track record -Prove you can lead, succeed, and be trainable -Makes yourself more marketable to companies -Build great friendships with great co-workers (everyone is young) -Builds a strong work ethic If your plan is to move up in the company, you are definitely given the tools to do so. If your plan is to move into corporate, there are limited opportunites. Mainly rental management is were you will make it to.

Cons

-Long hours (about 50-55/hrs per week) Monday-Friday avg 7:15am-6:30pm and every other Saturday -Starting pay is low. 11.50/hr blus bonuses hear and there. Expected to make 33,000 your first year. Once you make assistant manager it is 40,000 -You do not feel very proud working there. (washing cars/renting cars) -No big opportunities working in coprorate (Human resources, Accounting, Business, Fleet, etc..) -Very top heavy (people at the top make considerably higher than entry level) -Politics (as with any job) on you gets favorited or promoted
