Pros

Get sales experience out of college. Known for having hard working employees which helps get a job later. Work with people that are similar to you.

Cons

Hours are brutal. Vacations only if someone else isn't already off. Repossessing cars in rough areas that are dangerous. Pay is awful if you break it down on an hourly rate. Everytime someone takes over a branch they make less than the guy / girl that was there before. "it is a great opportunity" is how they sell it to you.

Pros

Looks good on a resume and really that is all.. I guess it can also make every other job out there look amazing.

Cons

There is nothing good about this company... Long hours..little pay..no respect from above.. Simply not worth the time and effort you put in.

Pros

Good corporate-led training program provides written training material and schedule for promotion for Management Trainees. The specific Manager determines quality of in-branch training program. For a period of time, offered competitive salary and high commissions. The entry level employees are predominantly recent college grads and provide for a fun low-key atmosphere. Frequent company-sponsored events with paid alcohol.

Cons

At Branch Manager level, promotions become exceptionally political and less performance based. No incentive or encouragement for attaining Graduate level education. Staff structure creates great gap between Branch Manager and Area Manager + level in both earnings and positions available. Employees responsible for working 50+ hours weekly, including Saturdays and occasional Sundays with no incentive for salaried employees. Skills attained in Rental division do not translate well to non-sales positions in other industries. Fleet planning by design creates routine shortages mid-week and relies on branch employees to field complaints from customers and accounts.
