Pros

Its a good place to start a career. Most all your fellow employees will be just like you...fresh out of college and ready to climb the corporate ladder. Benefits are decent.

Cons

You will have no life outside of work. You work 65+ hours/week. Are required to work every other Saturday. You get paid nothing. They will entice you and say you will make $36k your first year but its only if you follow their strict career path and meet goal they fail to disclose to you during the interviews. You end up making about 31K /year. You wash cars....Great way to use your Bachelors Degree....

Pros

A great training program. It depends on what office you are at, but some of them do a lot for their employees. Lots of after work functions and other events that help a 60 hr work week renting cars seem a little bit better.

Cons

Over worked and underpaid. You do not move up the ladder as easily as the company makes it seem. They have an unbelievable high turnover rate. Which is understandable when you work 60 plus hours a week and walk away with a less than $400 pay check. It also seems as though some of the most dispicable people are the ones to excel.

Pros

The people, everyone was nice and sociable and young. Twice a month we had happy hours that was payed for by the company. Being in my 20's it was a great way to meet people because everyone was looking to get ahead in their career within or outside of Dyson. It also polished up my sales skills and customer service skills and it looks great to other employers. I remember one instance when my assistant manager took a telphone call and it was a headhuinting agency talking about pharmceutial opporunties. They said that they love enterprise rent a car employees and was asking if she would interview.

Cons

The long hours and the customers. On the downside, the hours were long and their was a lot of grunt work. ex- You had to wash a lot of cars, jump start cars etc. The worst thing was that customers gace little respect. I remeber one instance when i was rushing to help a customer and I had to wash the car. the customer saw me washing the car and laughed at me. It was unpleasent. Also their is high turnover, i was their for two years most of the people I started with already left at that point. Also you can't have too many tickets.
