Employees are really not valued unless they are brining in a great deal of billable hours. This is not something that is easily controlled by the consultant based on the customer's needs and that of sales. Evaluations are just a box to be checked. There does not seem to be a good path for development, at least in my small section of the company. Based on company demands, some of my peers had difficulty obtaining a good work/life balance. Communication from mid level management was poor.
