Pros

Office is comfortable with up to date equipment. Nice lunchroom with name brand coffee. My direct manager was patient and supportive. Some flexibility with working hours. Decent benefit package.

Cons

Minimal training. Nintey day guarantee not long enough to learn job well enough to succeed and make commission. Low base pay. Management plays favorites and gives best opportunities to their chosen few. No access to the software products you are selling makes it difficult to understand how to present benefits to customers.

Pros

Epicor offers a lot of career growth, quickly. They have a promote from within mentality and it isn't difficult to out work the guy next to you (if you're a hard worker) to get noticed for the promotion you're looking for. The benefits are great, and there is a 401K match. Hours are also great, they let you come and go pretty much as you please just so long as you get your work done. Very little micro managing, (unless you don't perform, in which case, you'll receive a lot of micro managing)

Cons

There is no training past the week long TDR training. They give you very little to start and throw you in the water right away...sink or swim. The training things goes up through the ranks too. Even after moving into a sales role, they give you NO sales training and expect that the experience you've built over your time within the company is enough to sustain your first few months of figuring out what the hell to do with your job. The motivation to work hard is less than great. The hours that people keep and the work that is put in while on the job (at least in the Bus. Development/Sales teams) is minimal, making it difficult to work hard yourself. Depending on the click, you may get chastised for skipping a team lunch or happy hour. Pay is barely competitive.
