Overworked and terrible mid-level to upper management

Pros

Pay was ok, benefits were lacking. Office in Austin, TX is nice.

Cons

Current CAO is a horrible leader - demotivating, untrustworthy boss girl who is terrible with strategic planning. Accounting directors are useless yes-men with zero loyalty or backbone - who do not care about work life balance. They will work you 60-80 hours in accounting, then blame you for botched projects they fail to plan or staff. They hire outsourced non-accountants in Mexico but still expect US pedigree accounting level of work - and if they don't deliver, they expect managers to take on line work due to horrible staffing/planning. I saw friends of upper management get promoted 2 months from start, while people in the trenches working 2 years+ get shafted. Don't walk, run.
