Pros

standard perks typical to any company (and less than that)

Cons

- bad management, incompetence gets promoted, employees treated as slaves - employees are completely demotivated - HR is not doing anything to prevent discrimination (they are active in lay-offs) - over time is not paid but employees are constantly pushed to limits - not possible to change position or to grow in your job - employees pushed to work overtime and to travel during weekend without any compensations - constant lay-offs without reasons and no criteria for lay-offs explained, senior people are main target and managment is never affected - very bad internal politics, management from USA is destroying service department in Montreal and moving jobs to Plano - salaries are low in general except for ‘elite’ employees and management ... list can go on

Pros

Good working environment, clear processes, life/work balance. Other small but nice benefit, daycare, free coffee, gym, and so on.

Cons

Need more core business to stabilize the site, hiring and cutting sometimes happen in parallel. Compensation is not competitive. Location is poor for driving out of site.

Pros

The scale of work- Ericsson being the leader in it's work-field Work environment- Well it's a European company, not Korean ! perks are good- We AREN'T talking about the salary here ! In hand salary is a fat percentage of ctc.

Cons

Ericsson is on an aggressive expansion of it's workforce in india and thus are recruiting from all sorts of colleges. They prefer private clgs and if you belong to a IIT/NIT or similar, you'll be made to feel as if you don't belong there. Despite all their claims, Ericsson is not the company for software guys. Communication people will be preferred everywhere regardless of your specialization or even the domain awarded. Salaries are less compared to market competitors from software/communication areas.
