      Pros

      FDM can get you a fantastic start to your career in IT, placing you in companies which otherwise wouldn't pay any attention to you.

      Cons

      Pays good, but its never enough! Especially if you get placed down south... They also take a big cut of what you actually earn as a consultant, which is pretty depressing.

      Pros

      Opportunity to learn and train in a field without the typical background in IT/business. If you are lucky you will get placed at company that you would like to work for including extremely large financial service organisations that would be much more difficult without being placed at FDM.

      Cons

      Sells itself as an IT company, it is just an elaborate slightly more sophisticated recruitment company. No choice in where you will be working regarding both industry and geographical location. No communication once on site from management. Salary are is way below competitive for the first two years.
