No work for drivers during slow times. From December -April if at the bottom of the list are

Good company if you have been with the company for awhile (meaning 8 or more years)

Cons

If you have just started like me with the company and are on the very low end not a good place to be, No work at all, Have been know to not call drivers for work. As long as up to 7 days. No freight in the slow months, and low seniority with this company all bad.

Nothing much these days! They used to care.

Cons

They take money out of their drivers pockets and give it to contract carriers. Their insurance is awful, especially if you have a family that needs doctors care frequently. The insurance denies procedures some of these are for recovering cancer patients. They keep cutting runs and adding drivers to the extra board that already doesn’t run. They don’t want to be seen as a bad guy and lay people off so they just keep people around for absolutely no reason. Management is horrible and there is a ton of hostility at the hubs. FedEx used to be awesome to work for, but, that FedEx doesn’t exist anymore.
