Pros

FedEx Freight has excellent pay and benefits for its employees. This is a very fast paced detail oriented environment and can lead to great career opportunities.

Cons

Schedule is often night time shift or mid to late evening shift as a dock worker. However they do have opportunities as city drivers that operate during the daytime hours making regular deliveries and pickups.

I have found that FedEx Freight is the best company in the LTL industry to work for. The benefits & pay are both outstanding! My biggest mistake was leaving the company due to another job offer at a competitor. The grass is not always greener on the other side.

Cons

Occasional long hours due to weather or lack of dock workers & drivers for that day.

The pay and the benefits are great. The company takes care of the team members and the management will always look out for you when you need something. They will work with you if anything occurs in life.

Cons

You will always start on 3rd shift no matter the experience and cannot move up until a slot is open.
