Pros

It is a company with the potential to be great, most of the people are great, pay and benefits are fairly good.

Cons

Constant push to do "more" no matter how unprofessional the results are. There is no real interest in improving the quality of customer service, reducing loss and damage, or taking responsibility for counterproductive work policies. Dock workers are part time, and are treated like "part time" workers. They know how to do the job right but are not allowed due to bill count requirements. Inadequate, poorly maintained power units not suitable for the environment, and not enough freight handling equipment for all drivers.

Pros

For a part time job the pay is pretty good, I have watched folks become promoted into mgmt and to full time driving. In this economy that is a great indicator of a solid co. Fellow employees are well motivated and positive overall. The supervisors are great and they provided fairly good training.

Cons

The required hours are mostly at night... working night shifts can be a challenge for anyone. This specific location doesn't provide heat on the dock area... the cold can be harsh in winter. Some locations do have heat. The dock environment can get a little dull therefore it's important to keep a positive outlook with fellow employees.

Pros

A very simple job to do, your on a forklift 95% of the time. The only time your ever required to get off is to A) use the restroom or b) scan your bills off or onto a trailer. By far the easiest job and money Ive ever had. As long as your working and not messing around, the higher ups WILL stay off your back.

Cons

The night shift, lazy drivers who milk the clock when dispatched from other centers. Some supervisor force you to stuff the hell out of these trailers, potential breaking of shipments will happen. Miscommunication everywhere, and the supervisors never seem to make up there minds about anything.
