Pros

- Great company culture. Really focuses on taking care of their people with great benefits and cultivating a supportive work environment. -They really value developing people so if you want to move up there is massive opportunity to do so.

Cons

- Pay is very unfair to veteran employees. I know a guy who has been a loyal team member for almost 15 years. He's an excellent hard worker, very experiences and knows the business well. He takes amazing care of Fedex customers and yet a new hire with zero interpersonal skills was hired on, barely knowing the business. Her starting pay was MORE than what he makes. - Assistant Management role gets stuck with the worst hours in the company. It is a REQUIREMENT they work only CLOSING shifts and have to work on weekends. "Night/Weekend Manager" would be a more accurate description. Meanwhile everyone below them mostly work day shifts Mon-Fri.

Pros

The company has great benefits.

Cons

High turnover from entry positions to upper management. Low pay for more work than you signed up for and will train new hires that will come in at higher rates and less experience. Many employees become overworked and burned out due to always being understaffed. They preach about work life balance until it suits there needs and you will be over worked.

Pros

Health insurance and 401k. FedEx sucks. Promises you things they can't keep like paying you for milage.

Cons

Employees, customers, management all sucks. They won't train you even though they send you to another store for training. They don't show you how to do your mileage or how to work the software to do design work. instead tell you They are two busy to show you how to do it when they are in the middle of doing design work. After your month of training and your back in your home store they expect you to make orders and do design work for customers after teaching you only how to properly packaged and ship packages. That's all they taught me. They don't even teach you how to properly close the store on your own and expect you to know everything. You get lots of foreign shipments from customers who don't have proper paperwork and with 60+ character addresses that you cant fit in addresses bars of the company computers. that will cause there own packages to be stuck in customs as soon as they enter any foreign country. Nobody there is willing to really help you. It's every man for himself at FedEx.
