Pros

401K match, benefits. Depending on your manager, you can have a good work/life balance. Clean, new facility.

Cons

Vacation time is not competitive. Everyone starts with only two weeks, which is not a negotiable part of the hiring process. There is a lot of unnecessary processes that can get in the way of progress. While a lot of the work involves cross-functional collaboration, it often turns into a "too many cooks in the kitchen" sort of situation. Not all managers provide flexibility in work schedule and demand that you're at your desk from 8:30-5, no matter what. No option to work from home. Lack of employee empowerment (specifically for individual contributors) for decision making.

Long hiring process

In this situation there is no pro.

Cons

As a store manager and if you are hiring a new team member expect 4-5 months before getting someone on the sales floor. It takes at least a month for the hiring process, one week of onboarding, three weeks of off site training, then 90 days before the company will allow the new team member to work solo. This can be a problem as you are only staffed to have just enough coverage for payroll.
