COULD be the right job for the right kind of person.
Pros
If you're fortunate enough to end up working with a good batch of coworkers, there is a great potential here to learn a lot. Also, decent benefits, and a healthy shipping discount.
Cons
If you're unlucky in the coworker department, training will be almost nonexistent, or solely through online materials (which you will be pressured to keep current, and then pulled away from to help the counter). Everything you do learn will be trial by fire. Reviews for raises and advancement are a joke. Where other companies will document tardies, infractions and other issues with you in writing throughout the year prior to a review, Fedex Office TMs apparently aren't required to do so, so the review process is more like a "list of everything you screwed up, whether you remember it or not," and no documentation to say that it ever did. You will be asked to work overtime, and work at other stores, because someone's ALWAYS short-staffed.
