FedEx will do little to no research on the employee market they are hiring in. Pay checks can range from more than you need to half of what is expected for a single bedroom apartment in a given area. Benefits are the same bulk bought garbage you can get from any corporate employer. The sole and main focus for there hiring is to steal talent at a discount wage from other companies. NEVER, and i mean NEVER. Accept a paycheck from them that your not willing to live with. The moment you sign on for $9, you STAY at $9. When you inquire and try to improve (for example going from part time to full) they will hire full timers around you, and only see you as a bought item. They do not care for there employees and just think they will buy another if you leave. Leading to horrible work environment with a backstabbing and hateful atmosphere with your fellow employees. As well as pitiful quality of there products. They assume perfection without any effort to provide the tools or incentives to do so. Any one that have been there for a long time does not care. That is for a good reason. You can only take constant double talk and liability dodging for so long before you just despise your work.
FedEx is and only is good at shipping. Even that can be questionable since they insist on subcontracting there ground services. They even refuse to train their own drivers in that branch, insisting that they can just steal them from other companies.
The services are also to expensive for what they are. Which also makes no sense why they treat their employees as they do. They charge like they care but there is no proof of it going to the employees.
