Pros

Benefits are great for the position as compared to similar companies. Pay is great for the position as compared to similar companies.

Cons

Management is terrible and are often not available for questions. Management also does a poor job of training and I often found myself wandering around not knowing what to do. I also had no idea when I could leave work and found myself just hanging around untill the rest of the staff left.

Pros

Very good life/work balance, good benefits and interesting work.

Cons

FedEx is no longer a young company but it has not yet learned how to deal with its age. Most decisions are still made very high up. It becomes increasingly difficult to acomplish anything due to lots of red tape and bureaucracy behind which a lot of incompetent MDs and VPs are hiding. Worse, very rarely anyone is punished for poor performance or failed projects. All that makes promotions slow and a lot of great people leave due to lack of opportunities.

Pros

The best reasons include their great benefits package which is available after a certain amount of hours have been accumulated with the company. Usually very good management is in place Compensation is commensurate with work. At the bottom of the totem pole you definitely earn every penny.

Cons

I work what is referred to as the OTP shift. Management and coworkers are less rigid and I feel like it is easier to get overlooked. I am currently loading three trailers at night though. So if they don't overlook you, they will take advantage of your abilities without making you feel very appreciated.
