Pros

FedEx has taken steps to prevent people from losing there jobs in this tough economy. Senior Management will listen to the people on the "front lines" to make change.. Over all very good employer.

Cons

As stated above FedEx has taken steps to prevent layoffs, what they have done is spread the burden to ALL employees by cutting employer match into 401K, 5% paycut for all management (already make less than the industry avg), no longer pay incentive/bonus. work/life balance is tough because of the screwed up hours of the shifts.

Pros

Relatively slop-paced environment with adequate support and resources to define and implement new products/services. Ample opportunities for a promotion into a management position.

Cons

Too much inertia and bureaucracy that would frustrate someone who has worked in a smaller company and is used to fast product cycles. Internal debates/resource allocation process takes as much energy as any project itself.
