Pros

Easy for me to pick up hours. Co-workers were great. My managers were amazing. People were nice to me. Vending machines were nice. Attendance was important, but management was understanding of my absences.

Cons

It can be rough as packages can be over 100 lbs, and you might not be able to get any help carrying those. It can be freezing, even windy, inside, but at least we get hand warmers. Some drivers are unpleasant to work with. High turnover rate: I'm pretty sure I've seen over 50 people hired who left within a few weeks, and I've been there for only a few months. For vans, the distribution of packages can be stupid; there's no reason for all of the packages to be on one side of the truck. Bathrooms also suck, the sinks in there work like a watering pail with three holes lol.

Pros

Benefits after a 13 week waiting period for PT/ 12 hrs min/wk

Cons

If you are looking for a part-time job for the benefits or extra cash, I would look elsewhere. The reality of the job does not match the promise. First, the compensation simply does not commensurate with the sheer amount of physical labor involved. The working conditions are subpar, and the facility feels incredibly disorganized on a daily basis. You are constantly scrambling, and management doesn't seem to have a handle on the workflow. The scheduling is another major pain point. They constantly try to adjust work schedules to meet their own metrics with zero regard for the employee’s time or outside commitments. It makes planning your life outside of work nearly impossible. Finally, the benefits—which are often the main draw for this kind of role—are disappointing. You have to wait a full 13 weeks to even become eligible, and once you do, the medical and dental coverage is subpar at best.
