Pros

Love this job! After loading your truck your basically your own boss all day. For any new people joining the company your lucky because they recently fixed the pay scale. You max in 10 years from starting.

Cons

If your slow or lazy don’t even bother. The team won’t care for you and you will make the job harder than it should be. Also consider your area weather because u will drive in or on whatever surfaces that brings like ice or snow.

Pros

Interesting job, daily interaction with customers( usually highlight of the work day) and constant moving

Cons

Not a lot of room for advancement, taking too long to reach top pay. Another big con an hour break if you work longer than 8 hours.

Pros

The hours might be nice for a student or someone looking for part time.

Cons

My dad and older brother worked for Fedex Express. They both loved it. Fedex ground is a different story. I worked for Fedex ground. No breaks unless you work more than 8 hours. I could work 7 1/2 hours and not get a break. It can be heavy work. Which I love physical work. I've worked in other warehouses. After just a few weeks of working there I was trained as a lead. Half the managers had very thick accents and my fellow employees did as well. Having different cultures in the workplace is awesome. It did make communication very difficult, especially when I was put in a lead position. I didn't get any extra pay for the extra work. It felt like the hardest working employees got the most work. Almost like a punishment for working hard. Then you would have the lazy people spending large amounts of time walking around or sitting in the bathroom at times for 30 minutes. No one seemed happy to be there.
