Pros

Fender, Gretsch and Latin Percussion are still iconic "A" brands that will be difficult to destroy but it looks like they are trying their hardest to do just that.

Cons

At this point too many to list -ruined many good peoples lives in the last year. Texas Pacific Group is emaciating the company to look profitable to wall street investors. They are making the same mistake other non MI companies that have gotten involved in MI have made in the past at various retail and wholesale levels... and that is not accepting, understanding or realizing that the Music Industry really is like no other and can't be treated like it's just another business of moving widgets and digits from manufacturer to consumer.

Pros

Great brand, a handful of excellent, passionate people left at HQ. There is a tremendous amount of passion for the brand worldwide, but it seems to be more focused on generating revenue by cutting costs and compromising the soul of the instruments.

Cons

It's all money now...The "Rah rah" mentality regarding recruiting is a bit of a joke among those who know what the company once was. So much talent is gone and now replaced with "business" talent.
