Pros

The experience! You're surrounded by the best of the best-which makes you work that much harder. There can be great opportunity for advancement as long as you can keep your head down when need be, not step on too many toes and don't screw up.

Cons

Ultra competitive, ALL THE TIME! Also not always the friendliest co-workers. It is often very political. If you rub someone the wrong way it can really set you back. It's also hard to get a lot of visibility for a job well done due to the shear size and the politics of the day to day.

Pros

Honestly there were none...it was a horrible experience

Cons

It is a private company that is based in Boston. So if you are not based in Boston and you never were, then be prepared to struggle in this network.

Pros

Some of the smartest people I have ever worked with, many truly care about the customer and doing right by them. The company allows for tremendous growth and mobility, and, over the years, one can build a very rich skillset by working in different areas. Fidelity also has seemingly infinite resources, and invests in research and new ideas. Innovation is rewarded and encouraged.

Cons

Fidelity is a relationship company, and decisions are often made based on who is "in good graces" with the current leadership. Often, stakeholders on a project or activity can number in the dozens, and strong opinions are encouraged. Conflict and competition are also encouraged
